Went Jogging and Came Back With a Rant, I guess!
Hello, Collective Hive Members of the Blogosphere!
It's me your friendly writer of It's All In My Head! The master of this small and insignificant page that exists on this obscure corner of the interwebs. Of course, I don't particularly feel all mastery and powerful right now.
Yeah, I think I may be coming down with something, something bad!
I got the sniffles!
No, but seriously! Yesterday, I went for a jog, in the cold (that was smart) thinking that I would get a head start on getting myself reacquainted with my old jogging paths. At the end of that, my throat was sore and I knew instantly that I may have bitten more then I could chew.
I've been sneezing constantly since yesterday, accompanied by the runny nose and sore body muscles, but that could be due to the jogging I did yesterday.
Any who, I am now positive that I may have been infected with a rare form of the T-virus. I actually feel fine; but that's how it starts, doesn't it? Everything is honky-dory at first but slowly you start to feel the aches, head-colds, irritability and BAM! You're a zombie later with no choice but to chase and hunt those that did you wrong and make them pay!
You Bloody Bastards! I'm gonna get you because I know who you are! Bwa Ha Ha Ha!
Yes you, Neo-Ulyaoh-Umbrella! You're trying to take me down with your genetically modified virus spells, and you think you got me! Well, I'm here to tell you that you don't because I got ways to fight against you and you're evil ways! Bwa Ha Ha Ha!
You know what? Now that I think about it, this probably all started when you sent your rabid ninja raccoon after me that night a few weeks ago!? (See My Last Post for the New Year's Resolution Video!) Ooooooh, you are a clever evil corporation, but I have tactics to fight back and take you down! Wait til I get my hands on my spells to cure myself first and then turn the tables against you!
Where the hell is my Mantorok Recover Health Antivirus Spell?! Yeah, I can play this game too! You will not win in your quest to beat me and kick me while I'm down! I can pick myself back up and poke you in the eye to momentarily give myself the advantage to over power you and ravage you like a raging wolverine! I will have my vengeance against you, Neo-Ulyaoth-Umbrella!
Trust me, folks, I will fight this with every green and red herb that I can find! I'm going to enchant every tablet of NyQuil with a Mantorok Recover Health Antivirus Spell, and then I'll cast Shield around me to protect me against your butt-hurt minions because that's how I roll!
Oh, man, I can feel a great battle approaching! Great because I'll masterfully defend myself from your bugs and stomp you into dust as I laugh gleefully at your defeat! Bwa Ha Ha Ha!!!
So, don't worry about me, Bloggers! I'll triumph!
Until the next one!
By the way, due to my battle against Neo-Ulyaoth-Umbrella, my next Movie Collections Update video will be delayed, but only for a couple of days. Then again, maybe not. Who knows, I might get back on track with this thing!
**One more thing! This has been a glorious Rant Parody! I'm really fine, just the sniffles and sneezing, but it's really annoying! My next Movie Collections Update video will be delayed but not by much!**
So stay tuned!

Trying To Be A Master Mercenary
So, as the title of this blog entry suggests, I am in the process of becoming a Merc!
It's not easy deciding how to get ready to go and pillage unfriendly or friendly territories! For that matter, Mercs never know who is going to hire them and where they might be sent. It could be into the deep jungles of some South American country, or it can be a secluded town located in the Midwestern United States, and with only vague details about people going crazy!
Yes, sir, it's a toughie, no doubt about that! But, when the pay is good, Mercs tend not to ask questions and just do. I mean, for a few days of intense and life-threatening situations that most people will not touch with a ten foot pole -- why not!? It definitely builds character and adds more life-story experiences that makes others, who claim they're living life to the fullest, seem like pansies. Yeah, puts them to shame.
Yep, that's what I'm in for. Am I ready?
HECK NO!
I wouldn't even know what kind of socks or weekend t-shirts to pack!
Don't worry guys and gals I haven't become a gun nut. It might have been interesting though! But, alas, NO, I'm not venturing down that dark path. This is just a Resident Evil 6 news update from me to you. So far I've completed all three main campaigns and I've unlocked Ada's campaign also. However, I haven't tried her campaign yet because I've decided to give the mercenaries mini-games a try.
WHY, you ask? Well, simply because of the video below...
Now I was never one to play through the Mercenaries Mode in a Resident Evil game and the few times I tried during RE5 were met with horrid results, low points and my own disappointing ability to execute enemies and get higher combos.
However, when I saw this clip for an S Rank in the Merceneries Mode in RE6, I was surprised by how much easier it was to do. But, beware, even if it does look easy, trust me it's not! The enemies grow in numbers and can surround you making your task a hell of a lot harder to accomplish. The same can be said of the previous RE Mercenaries games, but with RE6 there are better options - tactics - for chaining a max kill combo and overall score for bonus prizes.
So far, I've gotten a C Rank with 75 total kills and a 25 max combo. Yeah, it's still pretty lame, but I actually found myself having fun! When I played RE5's Mercenary Mode, I found myself feeling frustrated and annoyed at not getting a higher overall rating and trying to unlock bonus characters. I think the reason RE5's Mercenaries Games left me with a bad taste in my mouth was because it really depended on online co-op to achieve max scores. I am not a big fan of online co-op anything, so this was a didn't help my progress.
This time, with RE6, it feels like I can actually accomplish both high score and bonus material while still having fun trying to become a Mercenaries Master!
I'm picking up the tactics, by watching the video, and I'm grasping my own method to accomplish the mission and get the highest score possible. It's a trial and error process, but I'm getting better so I know that eventually I'll have my way, Bwa Ha Ha!
I've been looking around the inter-webs and found pics on the additional characters and their alternate costumes that can be unlocked by completing the necessary objectives. Man, let me say that there are some unlockables that I want to achieve but know it will be a long and grueling task. One of them happens to be Helena's alternate costume!
Wow, that is quite a look and I like it! Some of the others include Sherry's original costume from RE2 and Leon's pirate costume. All-in-all, I just want to get better at playing through these modes and chaining combos for max scores, and getting those extras as rewards.
Well, that's all for now. It's a small part of my life, but rest assured that I will continue to practice and achieve that ultimate goal of Mercenaries Master Ranking like all the others before me!
Later, Gators!

Farewell 2011, Welcome 2012! My Thoughts, I Guess.
Well, well...it's that time of the year again. Don't know what I'm talking about?
Where have you been, living under an rock?!
Just pulling your leg(s)! I know you all know what time it is, and, once again, like every year we sit back and reflect on what we've been through during the last 12 months. Yeah, it may be boring, tedious or an unnecessary waste of time, but we still do it anyway to remind ourselves of the good times or bad times that we have encountered. I personally don't reflect or like to partake in the whole end-of-the-year wrap up thing; I just move on. I mean, tomorrow will be Sunday--it's no different than last weekend, just that it will be 2012.
Oh well, enough of me babbling about nonsense.
I guess this will be the last blog post of 2011, and starting sometime after today, I will post up a new entry that will represent what will become of me and this blog for 2012.
So many things to be grateful for as this year comes to an end. First, my greatest accomplishment, academically, is completing my M.F.A. in creative writing at Stonecoast. For me, it was a long hard but well fought battle and in the end my endeavor has made me into a better writer with a better sense of what I want to create and put forth for others to read. I'M A DAMN POPULAR FICTION WRITER AND I HAVE THE CREDENTIALS TO PROVE IT NOW!
All kidding aside, this is something that I am very proud of, and I know that everyone in my graduating class also feels the same way about their own individual battles and accomplishments. This final residency, we will all walk through the stonehouse or the Harraseeket Inn soaking up every last detail that we will take with us as memories of a glorious two years that we all spent bonding. It's funny but I know most of you in my graduating class will read this, and all I want to say is that I proud of our group and am honored to be a part of it.
STONECOAST WINTER CLASS OF 2012 RULES!
I know, corny! I had to do it though! ha! :)
Enough of the mushy stuff and let's get on with what the future holds for my blog: It's All In My Head. I honestly don't know. Go figure. I have some ideas of what I would like to post up as future blog entries and they involve more movie reviews and top personal video compilations. I meant to do this a while ago, but I may also start reviewing video games. I am a gamer, always have been, but I want to balance the blog with other resourceful commentary on my writing as well and things that I encounter. Again, this blog is about my what floats around in my head, hence the title.
I recently purchased a microphone, Bwahahahaha! (That's supposed to be me sounding very sinister.) I'm thinking that I may incorporate podcasts to the blog, or to compliment certain entries. I have many artist friends, and I was talking with them recently; I discovered how many similarities we share when it comes to creating our work. Even though we choose different outlets for self expression, the process still has some likenesses. There are lots of ideas rolling around in my cranium right now and I'll have to flesh them out at some point and see where I can do with those thought clouds. Of course, just getting to together with friends and talking about random nonsense is always good.
I'm excited about the podcasts and the possibilities that it could present. I'll definitely let ya'll know what I come up with.
A couple of surprising statistics and data I discovered recently about this blog! I have two followers now! I know who you are, of course! My initial apprehension with this blog was whether anyone would read it, but I have had readers, so I am happy about that. Since it went live about two years ago, I have had about, somewhere in the ball park figure, of 1500 visits! WOW! I'm not sure if that's average or not, but I'm satisfied that people are finding it and reading. Back to my two followers! I glad you're on board, and I welcome others to follow me or to continue reading--I won't bite...hard at least. ha!
Another idea just crossed my mind. I was thinking about possibly creating another blog for podcasts rather than just putting them here? Hmm, don't know yet. I've thought about creating another blog but the thought of maintaining two, AAAHHH! Then I thought maybe it could be a partnership with another blogger or writer(s). Hmm, who knows because I haven't decided yet. My mind floats in and out of ideas, it's weird, but I'll make sense out of all of it at some point.
Back to stats! I noticed a while ago that most of the searches that led to this blog involved: squirrels, the anime convention I went to two years ago and zombie stuff. Strange. However, the most surprising statistic I found yesterday was that my "Braidesmaids: Movie Review" blog post got *184* page views. That's insane; I raved about the movie because I liked it, for a chick flick, but I didn't think I said anything about it that was amazing. Hmm... maybe I am doing something that is working.
I think I'll stop here. This entry is already pretty long. I guess it wasn't much of a reflection, it is what it is. Geez, I'm so random even when it comes to my own thoughts. Ha! Rest assured that I will continue to deliver on the random and quirkiness. From here on out, I'm putting my 5OUL ON D!SPLAY. A little bit at a time, at least.
The words "5OUL ON D!SPLAY" are actually a song title. If you know this song and/or enjoy it, you ROCK!
Again, have a great Happy New Year and make the most out of 2012! I'll see you on the flip side.
Until then.

Something I Noticed Recently!
Hey, Guys!
For the past week, I have noticed a very significant spike in page view activity on my blog. At first, I was surprised by the increase and I little excited because people were visiting. However, now, I'm a little curious, mystified, concerned by the spike because it's still happening.
There are certain statistics that just don't add up, and I am fearful that somehow my blog my have been the victim of some kind of prank!
I hope this isn't the case because I really appreciate all the visitors who have visited or wandered onto my blog and read up on my posts. Thank You!
I hope I am not sounding harsh or too concerned about this, but this sudden and continuing rise is a little overwhelming, and I would like to know what is causing it? Maybe my posts have hit a popular trend or audience that identify with it. I don't know! Ha!
I guess what I'm saying is if this rise in views is for real then don't be afraid to drop me a line, post a comment, let me know who you are, where you're from or what you like about my blog! And, hey, become a follower and show your support for what I've been doing here! It's all about having fun and meeting new people, even if its only online.
Again, for those who have been with me since the beginning... Thank You! To those new to my blog... Welcome!
Stay safe, and until then!
